The Palmer Seventh-day Adventist Church exists to build a community that reflects the character of God.

Visiting on a Saturday Morning

Our Bible study time on Saturday morning begins at 9:30am and is called “Sabbath School.”

If you have a child, ask a greeter where the appropriate children’s class is meeting. Once you’ve dropped off your child, you can join the adults who gather for a few minutes in the sanctuary for the Sabbath School class there.

The adult Sabbath School class that meets in the sanctuary uses a 13-week study guide published four times a year, called the Sabbath School Quarterly. If you don’t have your own copy of the quarterly, please tell the greeter or Sabbath School teacher and we’ll get you a complimentary copy.

The adult Sabbath School class that meets in the Training Room behind the sanctuary studies topics selected by the class facilitators.

Sabbath School ends at 10:30, with a short break prior to the worship service at 10:45am. This is the time to go pick up your child, then make your way back to the sanctuary.

At our worship service, we sing, pray, and hear God’s word. Our music is typically a mix of hymns and praise song, accompanied by piano or guitar. The sermon typically lasts 30-35 minutes, and we wrap up by 12:00pm.

If you’d like to connect with someone for prayer or conversation, stick around after the service. We’d love an opportunity to get to know you a little better.

Can’t make it on Saturday morning? Looking for other opportunities to connect with fellow believers? Join us at any of these upcoming events!
